The Bob Woodruff Foundation embraces a unique, multi-faceted approach to giving. We maintain a national-level impact by partnering with community-level efforts. We join forces with government agencies to both adjust public policy, and to assist the Veterans Administration, Department of Defense and other groups currently overwhelmed with the challenge of caring for service members and their families. We understand the value of public awareness and education, and we are continually investing in both.

You know people who have gone to war to fight for the freedoms we, as Americans, enjoy every day.You know a veteran injured in Iraq or Afghanistan or any war in our history.

We want you to express your respect and gratitude for these service members. The "Support Our Troops" video contest will allow you to honor service members who put their lives on the line to protect our freedom.

"'Support Our Troops' is no longer a slogan. It's an action." - which can have different meanings depending on your interaction with the military, veterans and how these issues are addressed in your community. We want you to report on a local story that affects your community and includes a veteran or current military personnel, or any other story that exemplifies why it is important for this country to support our troops, regardless of political views, and demonstrate to other young people what your community is doing to support those who have served this country in the past or present.
